CPU fan is loud, when it's on ... total 68gb free after 8.1 upgrade ... resolvable wi-fi issue ... very nice build for the money

Summary: edit: I ran into the "limited connection" (no internet) deal again, so I went back to the link (below) and did the first thing (which I skipped previously, for no apparent reason) ... we'll see if that's the end of it I immediately upgraded to 8.1 ... it went fine I also bought a 24in monitor to extend to ... that's also been working well I'm also using a Logitech K810 bluetooth keyboard and Logitech M525 mouse ...
Summary: I was looking for a solid portable machine to use mostly for statistical computing. Streaming and graphics for me are just hygiene factors, as in, I expect all newer computers to do that these days. But I also wasn't interested in becoming a nervous wreck trying to look after a $1500+ macbook..For under $600, this is a great buy. Yes, the keyboard and touch pad are a little cheesy and since it only flips to stand mode, I have no use for the touch screen.
Summary: A good ultrabook with good spec in this price range, thought is an older version of this model series but it already fits my need when I considered a balance between price and spec. The speed is not as high as I have expected for an i5 device in some occasions but generally it has done its work. The resolution is relatively low but does not bother me much.
Summary: Really nice choice if you you want a fast ultrabook for his low price. For me the perfect mix to use your laptop as a tablet (if you don't want to spend 1000$). This performances in my opinion make this laptop a big choice to work with it for several years.
