Summary: I thought it came with an HDMI port, but alas it did not. The touch pad is a bit glitchy at times and freezes altogether at others, but as long as you have a comfortable/portable mouse this laptop is awesome.
Summary: I come from an IT background and needed a basic laptop as I am saving money for the big purchase of another work laptop/travel/desktop replacement and got this one in the meantime. Couldn't be happier. Not only is it really fast but it does everything I need it to without any hassle. Lenovo makes a great quality product. Note: I put in the full capacity of 8 Gigs of RAM, and got a laminate cover for the screen and backside cover. That's it.
Summary: It came in black instead of brown, but that was not very important and I was not about to pack it up and exchange it for a brown number. It's hard to know how much it's affected by the OS. I HATE Windows 8 (they should croak at Microsoft!) and I don't know if that's what's slow or is it the computer, or maybe it's my cable speed. I have no idea.
Summary: The computer quality overall seems okay, but the i3 just does not handle multi-tasking very well, and I'm a heavy multi-tasker. I also don't care for the Windows 8, so I am now considering upgrading to another computer with an i7 processor and Windows 7. Will probably still go with Lenovo though, because otherwise the quality is there.
Summary: Why, please tell me, why do they mess up a PC as good as this one by installing Windows 8 on it? Were it not for that it would have gotten a much better rating. For crying out loud, MS-DOS was a better way to go! Other than that it's pretty slick.
Summary: Coming off of a Macbook, it is really a big step down. However, it does what it is supposed to do. I had to return the first one sent to me as the tracpad did not function correctly and the return time was on the slow side (2 weeks). The new one is much improved and I do thank the vendor for allowing me to swap out (i did pay the return shipping, $12), though.
