Summary: So my laptop died after 3 years of use. I decided I wanted to get on the solid state band wagon and got this. I am kicking myself for not looking into it more, but this guy is purely a work computer. Graphics card? What this mean graphics card? 1080p? What this mean 1080p? Blue ray drive swap from my old laptop? Nope, the screen cant do higher than 720 so whats the point? Other than that start up time is lightning fast, but its very no thrills, work work work.
If only I had received the advertised battery life...
9 January 2015
Summary: Three gripes: I got a 3 hour battery, not a 6 hour as advertised (yes, I checked my power settings, the battery itself, etc.). I also am not crazy about the Lenovo track pad. It feels cheap (plastic) and is prone to opening documents, web pages, etc when you weren't intending too. Lastly, according to my control panel, I have a Sony Blu-ray BDP-2013 installed (which is not a locatable model online)but I cannot get it to play Blu-ray.
Was disappointed that it came with wrong wireless drivers
3 January 2015
Summary: Was disappointed that it came with wrong wireless drivers, resulting in internet speeds of < 1 mb/s download speed despite the connection being around 20 for other computers. I've had good experiences with Lenovo before, but this was not the best experience.
