Excerpt: I got my laptop at the end of May and by the middle of the summer it was already showing different tecdhnical problems. I often have to restart because the keyboard locks up or it will not connect to the internet. I do like some of the featurs it offers like the eye verification when logging on. I also like some of the preloaded programs included on it (but some of them are just a waste of my space on the computer). However, if you want a quality laptop that will...
Excerpt: There are thousands of laptops to choose from. I have owned a few before, and I have to admit that the Lenovo 3000 N100 has been the best one I have owned. Let's start with the pros.1. The first impression of the computer is that it looks solid. The case is the standard metal and plastic, but it's a good design. The screen hinges feel solid and well made, not like others I have seen that crack after extensive opening and closing.
Excerpt: Got this laptop as a gift but it was very very slow and I was advised that it was loaded with a bunch of unnecessary programs because it had windows vista. I took it to computer shak to have it purged but was advised that they should never have tried to put windows vista on it with only 512 mb of memory had to have memory doubled @ $500.00 to get the speed up to a tolerable rate.
Excerpt: There is a 3 in 1 card reader that can support different types of cards such as Flash Memory Cards,SD Memory Cards, Memory Stick and MultiMediaCard. The display is not bad at 15in that will allow you to see all your games and photos. Overall a good laptop and a fantastic looking one too. Go for this one if you are a professional and you have a buisness or if you have qutie a bit of money, then consider this one too.
Excerpt: I prefer sticking my tablet right next to the laptop. It’s more comfortable for me that way. With regards to the sound volume, I think its good enough if you are the only one using the laptop. But if you want to watch a movie with a few people it’s better to attach some decent speakers. My Lenovo is durable. It’s been almost two years since I bought this unit and so far I have no problems with it.
Summary: When I go to work my needs are for a workhorse of a laptop without Vista. It need be uncluttered so I don't spend 3 days cleaning it out from all the "stuff". And it needs to be solid and able to boot up 3-6 times a day without problem. It took me an hour to get this laptop ready to go from installing Firefox and Thunderbird to putting all my work into place on it. It boots quickly and I like it.
Summary: Laptop works very well and wireless card is very good; PC also came with business software and free-short-term subscription to Symantec anti-virus. I didnt want to get a new laptop and be stuck with MS Vista. This used one had XCP and I have been very pleased with the performance and great value.
Summary: I reviewed a lot of laptop/notebook computers prior to my purchase and this one, by far, was the best product for the money. It was purchased for my daughter and son (I bought two of them) for their use at college and work related responsibilities. They are happy with the purchase.
