I'd purchase this system again from seller if I had the same oppurtnity.

  • Summary: Specifications were exactly as the seller described. Additional memory and replaced the HDD with an SDD. Performance and benchmarks were impressive. Unit gets fairly hot and expels a large volume of heat. I'd strongly recommend using a cooling pad if left running for extended periods of time. Otherwise very happy with it's overall performance. I only gave it a 4 stars due to the large amount of heat dissipated from the machine.

Fast computer and delivery from Computer Upgrade King

  • Summary: Good! My laptop from CUK was shipped cross-country and arrived in nine days - a snowstorm delayed it. It looks good, a medium-ruggedized case with no mars or scratches and fired right up. The SSD they installed makes for a fast startup *whew*. There was little pre-installed, just the OS and a few utility apps. The Win7 Pro on this accepted the transferred data from my XP machine with no problem. Very nice laptop and FAST.

Noticeably superior to Inspiron, Vostro, and XPS

  • Summary: Having splashed out this time on the second-most-expensive Dell laptop range (one below a Precision), I am 100% satisfied with my choice of a e6530. Overall build quality is superb, with the keyboard and screen being particularly excellent. Comes with Windows 7 DVD allowing manual reinstallation of operating system, though it takes a long time installing the Dell-specific drivers (and indeed working out which ones to use).

  • Summary: The Latitude E6500 series is our standard unit. All have been great so far and the E6530 is no exception. There are enough options available to satisfy almost every user. The large screen is the only hassle for those flying cattle class.

  • Summary: The Latitude 6530 is fast and sturdy, and comes well-equipped for running a small business. As a financial manager, the numeric keypad is a great addition for me. I love the feel and the function of this laptop.

high quality-but I have special needs

jchang6, Dell

  • Summary: Overall a high quality product that is closest to what I want: quad-core, high display resolution, large memory, and SSD. I bumped the system to 16GB via Crucial and a 512GB OCZ Vector SSD. The dimensions are on the large side, almost as big as my Core2 generation Vostro 17in. Main complaint is 16:9 screen, which might be ok in consumer, but business/professional system should be 16:10.

  • Summary: Great laptops. Currently the company standard laptop. It is a little bit heavy, but the long battery life and huge screen make up for it.
