Summary: A very easy laptop to upgrade and use. It is heavy but that's to be expected. I like that the back cover comes off without tools but it, and the battery have to be seated exactly which takes a bit of work. I would call the sound okay.
Excerpt: Received my HP Zbook Laptop and I love it. It runs so smoothly and fast, and the plus is it has Fingerprint on it instead of typing your password, Awesome Feature. Have had a few JEALOUS people looking at it and drooling..

Summary: I use this for my contract work and it's been great so far. I really like the 17 inch screen and it was easy to hook up my second monitor. Initially I wasn't crazy about the backlit keyboard, but can see where it could be handy if working in a darker area.
Summary: In my opinion this is about the best full-performance Notebook computer out there if you can live with the design defect explained below. I needed a replacement for my stolen HP Elitebook 8770w, which is no longer available from HP.
Summary: obviously a little heavier because of the size, but that was to be expected. easy access to upgrade slots, bottom cover slides off after unlocking (slide lock by battery) all open slots are right there on the bottom.
Pros: Fingerprint reader ExpressCard slot SmartCard reader All USBs are 3.0 SS except for one Nice screen, good color reproduction Expandable; Extra 2.5" HDD/SDD slot (onboard RAID), also extra RAM slots available; can upgrade to 32GB, m.2 SATA port available (for extra flashcache or use as a SDD Flash...
Cons: no HDMI port, not worth deducting an egg though no extra HDD cage (with lever lock) to add a second HDD/SDD, also no egg deduction. seems IF I COULD FIND ONE, that it wouldn't be too expensive.
We had to spend hours cleaning this stuff off before the computer was minimally useful.

Summary: I might have rated this laptop much higher if they had not loaded it with malware. Do the folks at HP think anyone enjoys having multiple pop-ups trying to sell backup services, cloud storage, optimization services, etc.
