Once you go touchscreen laptop/tablet yo u will never go back!
23 July 2014
Summary: I have one and have referred my best friend and she has one and because of how much we love ours she has a coworker who wants one as well! By far the best brand out and with it having the old windows versus that new windows operating system that confuses the mess out of even the most tech savvy persons, like myself a gadget and computer geek, i wouldn't change my laptop for the world.
Summary: If you own one and it is still working...keep your fingers crossed...theses laptops have a motherboard problem..If you had problems when you first purchased this laptop...HP would reflow the motherboard and put copper shims in it to fix the overheating problem..I have seen hundreds on ebay selling for parts over the years because of the motherboard issue.
Summary: I also had this computer since it was first released and paid $900 for it at Best Buy. Two years later, after I watched a DVD in it (which I rarely do) and left the computer on overnight, I had the GPU/motherboard failure. This computer should not have been sold at all, given the GPU heating problems. A class-action suit should be filed for this one, like it was for the first TX.

Summary: Per the seller I was under the impression that all besides the broken screen works! But to my surprise upon plugging my external monitor to the TX2Z it did not Boot nor let alone ever worked as described. I asked for a full return. I'm not giving up because of reviews that I have read gave this model excellent ratings.
Summary: I bought this laptop thinking is was a good choice for its double function of being a pc and a tablet but honestly its not that great i have windows 8 supposedly the best way to take advantage of the touch screen feature totally not the case since a lot of the drivers are not updateable and therefore do not work example the finger print reader among many others another thing is the touch screen it doesn't respond as fast and as well as it should and if that isn't enough...
If I could, I'd give it -5 stars. Defective unit, and HP knows it!

Summary: In the beginning, I was so excited about this computer! I bought it in late 2009 straight from HP and was overly excited about the, seemingly, infinite things I could do with this computer. I was excited about the technology--even before the the Windows 7 upgrade, it was cool. From the start, I had minor problems--the computer would shut off on it's own in a very odd way. Battery wouldn't be dead or anything, but it was frequent.
Summary: This is the best laptop/tablet going!!! It is the right size, it's a laptop , it's a tablet and it has touch and pen features. Can't beat it. I have nothing negative to say on this HP Product! I didn't want to buy a laptop and a tablet.
