Excerpt: When I first received this product, I was unbelievably enthusiastic and overwhelmingly excited not just because it was new and it was the original computer that I wanted when I first started checking out computers, but I was overwhelmed because my other HP Laptop, the dv5210 had just been stolen unfortunately 2 weeks before my birthday,so imagine my surprise when this one, the HP TouchSmart Laptop arrived 5 days before my birthday.
The HP TouchSmart tm2 is the best, I love touchscreen
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The HP TouchSmart tm2 is the best laptop I have ever had, I honestly can say that more touch screen laptop's should be made. It makes simple things such as taking notes in my college classes easy because i can just go to paint and write and write and write, also another feature I like about this laptop is that the paint feature is at its prime. i can actually draw what i wish, and how i wish it to come out.
Excerpt: I love this and it's touch screen. I kept wanting to touch the screen of my old one (like I thought that would work) and said they really ought to make a touch screen. Works great! I think the sound quality is good. My daughter and I both use this laptop and it works great for what we are both doing. She needs it for school and friends I need it to play on too. Also love that the screen turns around so you can show someone what your doing .
Excerpt: This computer is expensive when compared to other laptops on the market. However, I decided to buy this laptop despite having the opportunity to buy any other one for cheaper. The main reason I wanted this laptop was for the touchscreen. I wanted the convenience when surfing the web. Better yet I am able to rotate the screen so I can make it a tablet. Therefore, I can use it similar to the iPad for web surfing or using the stylus for note taking.
Summary: I have three daughters, each wanting a I-Pad or tablet, in researching them I found them limited in what they could do. Although cute and functional the tablets on the market didn't cut it with me. This HP TouchSmart was the best of both worlds, Laptop and Tablet to ability to work and play is the perfect match. Watch a movie, the screen is just fine and so is battery life, several hours of continuous movies before it needs to be charged..
Pros: Adequate Storage, Durable Construction, Easy To Use, Fast, Good Battery Life, Large Screen, Lightweight, Reliable Performance
Summary: i love this HP i use it for digital art and all my software run smooth i upgrade the ram to 6gb and will add another 2gb for the max. the only thing i did not like is that the wireless card is not really N specific the highest it reaches is 72Mbps which is almost the same as a G adaptor. when i spoke to a tech they said thats not normal.
Pros: Adequate Storage, Durable Construction, Easy To Use, Good Battery Life, Large Screen, Lightweight, Reliable Performance
Summary: I love this computer. [...] I'm a graphic designer. I loaded adobe cs5 on here. i've had 4 of the programs open simultaneously with multiple files open in each program, and it doesn't slow down. The only thing that I found that slowed this computer down was the anti-virus software that came preloaded on it - I disabled it. HP's user interface for multimedia is awesome. It's really user friendly, and even my non tech savvy relatives that have tried it love it.
Pros: Adequate Storage, Durable Construction, Easy To Use, Fast, Good Battery Life, Reliable Performance
Summary: It's a shame HP doesn't advertise this product more on TV. This PC is a laptop and iPad combined. You can use the keyboard and then transform for use as an eReader. The Internet is truly different on a touch screen. It's more like an endless magazine topped with videos. Once you see this computer at the store, you will simply have to purchase one. The laptop portion of this PC is pretty standard. 4 GB memory 320 GB hard drive, core 2 duo fast processor, webcam...
Pros: FUN, Lightweight, Long Battery Life, Quality Display, Quiet, Unique
Summary: It's a little heavy for the size, but the casing is metal and it feels solidly built. Nice keyboard spacing for such a small footprint and decent battery life. The touch screen really does respond to the lightest touch, which takes a bit of getting used to, but after a little while you'll find it to be superior to the ones you had to tap with a lot of force. The one complaint I have about this unit is the display is extremely glossy.
