Summary: This HP model (G4S62UT#ABA) has a DVD, runs great, and the price was inexpensive. However, the wireless card was bad, but was easily replaced by me within minutes. I had contacted a HP technical rep. via the online HP Assist software located on the laptop who mailed the part to me within two days. The warranty was activated in August 2014 by someone else, so the laptop appears to had been returned prior to my purchase in December 2014.
Excerpt: Would not buy again. I purchased this notebook and had to return the first one. The wirless adapter was not working correctly it only tested at 2-5 mpbs while 2 of my other computers tested at 30 mpbs. They replaced the notebook and I had the same problem. This notebook was also return. The people from Staples on-line were great and did not give me a problem when I returned them.
Excerpt: Loving this computer , however I was having major problems in the beginning. Thought it was the computer, turns out, my router was shot. Took me 4 days to convince my provider that was the" problem" and there was nothing wrong with my computer. I was so fustrated, I almost took the computer back. Sure glad I didn't. I'm loving it now.
