  • Summary: If you are the kind of person who does not know how or have the time to complete the refurbishment, then you probably should not buy this computer. Spend the extra $$ and get something new. If you are the kind of person who has a couple of laptop hard disks laying around, then you may find this to be an adequate deal. I would not call it a good deal. Flawed at best.
  • Pros: Good power for the price. Like Windows Professional, rather than home edition. NewEgg, as always, offers what they say and delivers it promptly.
  • Cons: Refurbisher did not do a very good job. The system runs chkdsk every time it boots, implying that there are bad sectors on the disk. Bluetooth does not work. And making the the recovery disk is broken so I can't easily put a larger disk in it. What I got is a "used" computer, not a "refurbished" computer.
