I did not purchase this laptop.

Norris mendoza, Amazon

  • Summary: But I wish I had. I had a Pavilion Desk Top that lasted 8 years without serving. It ran win XP with SP2.. I'm considering resurrectin it with new software. Unfortunately I bought an Acer laptop for $439. The price was right. It's the OS I can't stand. I has windows 8. The. Latest thing. Take it from me - it doesn't work. I hear win 8.1 is a reversion to XP. But I don't know. It's hard to find.

Not bad but BIOS needs work

N/A, Newegg
9 April 2014
  • Summary: Would be an awesome laptop if they would lower the price. Think this is worth about $800 not $1000
  • Pros: Over all great laptop. Decent processor and everything minus the finerprint reader seems to work with linux. Bought for my wife and she seems to like it so far.
  • Cons: BIOS. Has a fingerprint reader but preboot settings are not as good as DELL, for a professional computer. I prefer to be able to require the fingerprint to just be able to make it past the POST .

love the laptop

bonnie hetland, Amazon
18 June 2013
  • Summary: I am very pleased. However, if I had known how long it would take to get it I would have opted to send more money. Also the laptop was not wiped when I got it and had all the previous owners Facebook etc on it. So, I had to learn how to set it back to original condition myself.

HP655

Ike, Amazon
1 June 2013
  • Summary: I bought this laptop at Walmart 1 week after retiring from HP. What a disappointment! 1. It's SLOW...even with 4GB of memory running Windows7. It's S-L-O-W! 2. There's no PCMCIA slot! No way to any option cards. Who would have thought a laptop would not come with a PCMCIA slot? I didn't, so I never checked before buying. 3. The keys are slippery and flat...not scalloped like on most keyboards.

Great Computer for the Money

Susan A Grossman, Amazon
2 May 2013
  • Summary: My husband puchased a laptop that was loaded with Windows 8. Needless to say it didn't function like previous version of Windows. After listening to him complain and seeing how frustrated he was, I decided to buy a laptop with Windows 7 on it. He has not stopped raving about how much he likes it. He especially likes the way it handles slide shows. If you have stills mixed with videos, when it gets to the video, it plays it. Pretty cool !

Problemlos in Betrieb zu nehmen, Vorinstallation ohne nervigen Ballast

Amazon Customer, Amazon
29 April 2014
