Summary: This HP has super fast processor and a 256 gig ssd loads windows 7 really fast. The screen is wonderful quality and full 1080p. It has been great for making websites and playing games or watching movies.
Summary: Would be an awesome laptop if they would lower the price. Think this is worth about $800 not $1000
Pros: Over all great laptop. Decent processor and everything minus the finerprint reader seems to work with linux. Bought for my wife and she seems to like it so far.
Cons: BIOS. Has a fingerprint reader but preboot settings are not as good as DELL, for a professional computer. I prefer to be able to require the fingerprint to just be able to make it past the POST .
Summary: But I wish I had. I had a Pavilion Desk Top that lasted 8 years without serving. It ran win XP with SP2.. I'm considering resurrectin it with new software. Unfortunately I bought an Acer laptop for $439. The price was right. It's the OS I can't stand. I has windows 8. The. Latest thing.
Summary: The touch pad is touchy but can be turned off. Wish I had invested in a faster processor. Decent battery life. Good sound and graphics. It's a good deal for the price though. Will be staying with HP in the future because of the durability.
Summary: Worked great for two weeks then started doing updates every.night. Had to do a system restore twice and worked another week okay. Having to reload all the software, now because couldn't even get turned on last time we tried it.
Summary: I got this computer from another vendor with Windows 8 installed, and only 30 day free Office, which I didn't notice when I ordered it. This was an issue for me since I'm a writer, but that is, again, my fault for not opting for Windows 7 Pro. ( I hate Windows 8.
Summary: I am so very happy with this computer. I needed a new one because my other one was old and very slow. This new one is very quick and easy to navigate. I am not a computer wiz so if this is easy for me it would be easy for most people.
