Review HP ProBook 5330m-LG724EA Notebook

Notebookcheck
26 November 2011
  • Summary: Silver Worker. With the ProBook 5330m, HP is updating the smallest of its ProBooks. Aside from a completely new aluminum design, there's also a solid hardware update. There's a new high end dual core processor from Intel and an SSD drive, to speed up your work on this subnotebook even further.
  • Pros: Stylish design, High quality material choices, Good keyboard (pleasant typing feel, back lit), Matte display, UMTS+ WAN, Many security features, Low weight, Good performance, SSD drive, The sheer processing power HP stylishly packaged in this small notebook.
  • Cons: Poor display (dark, poor contrast), Paltry interface selection, Cheap mouse buttons, No docking station connector, A brighter display.  HP didn't do itself a favor opting for such a cheap display.

HP ProBook 5330m

CNET
28 September 2011
  • Summary: The redesigned HP ProBook 5330m is meant to be a stylish rethinking of business laptops. We've heard that before. In the case of this ProBook, it hits the basics but is not really that much of a reinvention.
  • Pros: Compact and solidly-built, the HP ProBook 5330m is a cleanly made 13-inch business laptop with up-to-date processor specs and a glare-free matte screen.
  • Cons: A spare design and underperforming battery may disappoint road warriors, and it lacks USB 3.0. The Beats Audio improves headphone listening, but speakers still sound middling.

HP ProBook 5330m Review

Digitaltrends
16 September 2011
  • Conclusion: Taken on its own, the HP ProBook 5330m seems like a reasonable laptop. Business travelers will be pleased by the sturdy construction, matte display and excellent performance At least, that is, until other mile-high executives pass by in the airport with their own choices. Suddenly the flaws in this product start to reveal themselves. The Lenovo X220 offers better battery life and a more portable size at a nearly identical price.
  • Pros: Versatile matte display, Durable chassis, Robust suite of security software, Great performance
  • Cons: Heavy, Poor battery life, Can run warm

HP ProBook 5330m

muycomputer.com
23 February 2012
