Summary: keyboard is annoying because it is shifted to the left and the number keys are on the right. Number keys shift between numbers and directions and seriously slow down my work. for those who use a computer for WRITING< this is very difficult to adjust to.
Summary: Never been more unimpressed with HP... this is probably the 10th HP machine I've purchased over the years, reconsidering future buys from HP if this is any indication of where we have come. I know it's drastic, but maybe the time is ripe for a mac...
Pros: Sleek comfortable machine. Fit and form are nice... function is something to be desired.
Cons: I've spent hours trying to remove all the junk that's installed on this thing out of the box. I've never seen so much ridiculousness. Finally moved into safe mode just to uninstall all the junk because it was fighting me otherwise.
Summary: This is just a personal preference, but I like more speed so I always buy an additional 4GB of RAM to add to the notebook. It is already at a good price so I can justify the additional cost of an extra stick of memory.

Cons: The wireless card by realtec doesn't get picked up by Debian Linux distros (Ubuntu, Mint, Zorin, etc.) and you have to install the driver (rtl8723be) separately. It isn't a problem really, just a nice thing to know before installing Linux. All the other drivers load without issues.
