Summary: Not as described. The photos in the description picture this as a 455 G1 model. Instead, a 355 G2 model came (lower end model). The 355 G2 is 100 dollars less anywhere else. Be cautious when ordering this item as the description is very misleading and all over the place. I noticed that they updated the detailed description after I ordered the product to state that it was a 355 G2 model laptop but the product title still says it is a 4540s.
Summary: This computer is the worse computer I have every owned. I bought this computer as a Christmas present for my husband he seemed to have no problems with it. It froze up on him about 3 month into purchasing it which I knew nothing about. I purchased the same computer 3 months later for myself WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!! It takes for ever to start up it freezes so bad it takes shut downs etc to get it up and started again sometime it would take a good 20 minutes.
Summary: I got this laptop to replace my old HP Pavilion. I needed something to run AutoCAD and a few other more demanding programs. When I got this I was very impressed with the quality, feel and look of it. Started up well and worked like a champ. The HP Security software caused it to lag on startup a bit, but nothing that affected operation. However, about 6 months in I started having major problems starting up, it would take up to 10 minutes to startup.
Summary: I cannot rate this product because I haven't use it as yet. All I have done with this Computer so far turned it on and off. I bought this Computer for my son, as soon as he start using it, I will give you a Review.
Summary: MADDENING! I was plagued by two issues, have spent far too much time without resolution. (This is an issue with HP, not the seller) I called HP to request assistance with my ProBook 4545s adapter and fingerprint scanner. After an exhaustive two hours on the phone, including a remote log-in to verify the issues, HP confirmed I was mailed the incorrect adapter with the original shipment of the ProBook 4545s and I was assured the error messages pertaining to the fingerprint...
