Summary: This is the worse laptop I have ever used or owned. The mouse pad does not response well and will freeze for a couple of seconds. I have tried everything to make it better and nothing works. I use my laptop for school, but I also like to play games on it.
Summary: Anyone who buys an HP computer is making a serious mistake. Having purchased several HP laptops that died within months of each other, I can testify that they are made of the lowest quality components, poorly assembled and poorly designed.
Summary: Bought a HP Pavilion G series. There is so much preloaded software that the computer runs as if Ive had it 3 years when Ive only had it for 3 months. Not only is it slow. The keyboard is not very responsive. When I hit the 8 button half the time it doesnt register.
Summary: HP laptop build quality is very poor. I have had two dv-4 laptops (similar to this model) that have died due to related problems, after less than two years. The screen attachment mechanism is not strong, and fails after repeated use.
Summary: I bought a Windows 7 Professional 32bit operating system on the laptop. I received Windows 7 Home 64bit. Not even close to the right description. I notified the seller and requested a reduction in price since I had to use a new copy of windows license to make the unit as needed.
Summary: UPDATE: After a month of having this computer, it crashed! The power cord also got super hot very quickly. (after about 10 minutes of normal use.) I also just got a new HP computer at work, and that has major issues as well. In short, I will NEVER purchase another HP computer.
Summary: I read all the good reviews about the HP Probook 4525s and purchased one. The Probook worked great for two hours and then became extremely hot and then shut down. The laptop would not turn back on again. I returned the Probook the same day that I received it.
