Summary: Good laptop, works well if you don't download too many programs. I downloaded a couple pathology programs to my laptop for medschool and it really bogged down the computer. But after deleting those and just using the schools computers for those programs the laptop works just fine.
Summary: This Computer broke down on the installation of the iniatial input of software, sreen went black, back light went out, with fashlight you could see what was on monitor but could not funtion like that.
Summary: Great all around notebook, the i3 4000M is fast enough to handle all of my business programs and the video is acceptable for light gaming if I find the time. Easily goes 5 to 6 hours between charges the way I use it. The 1366 x768 resolution is fine on the 14" screen.
Pros: Light weight and good battery life, acceptable graphics for light gaming.
Cons: Wish the screen tilted back a little farther.
Summary: Sharp edge on the probook 440 creates hand pain when using the touchpad as well as wrist pain if typing for too long with your wrist touching the edge because the edge cuts into your hand and irritates it. otherwise it is a good design.
Summary: I purchased this laptop after my old Elitebook was no longer usable. I purchased it this past fall, and am very happy so far! I use it for basic word processing, research (I'm a graduate student), blogging, web surfing, videos, light photo editing, and other typical things.
Summary: The intial ram of the system is pretty poor but it is upgradeable to 16gb. The main reason I chose this laptop was for the processor and it having Windows 7. It is overall a pretty nice computer minus the fact the G key pops a little when pressed.
Summary: Excellent computer! I bought this because it was the best bang for the buck. Great processing speed at 2.4 ghz without having to overclock, only came with 4gb ram but I purchased 4 more gb of ram and because of the ease of entry into this unit I turned it into 8gb in less than 30 seconds.
