Defective laptop and difficult condition to return

Summary: I ordered this laptop for my wife's Christmas present from one of the sellers here. I regret that I did. The received laptop has 2.5 Mbps WiFi speed test on my Comcast 60 Mbps 2.4 GHz WiFi network. All of my other Wifi devices are above 40 Mbps. The fully charged battery can last for about 1.5hr on normal web surfing without any video play back. Now, I really suspect on the sources of products sold by this seller. Likely of cheap RMA or refurbished products.
Summary: Love this computer! It's small, yet has full size keyboard. I have an external CD/DVD drive I use with it - works great for a fairly reasonable computer. Was shipped very quickly and packaging was great. Very pleased. I've been using this now for several months.
Summary: I always have a problem with this laptop. I already called the HP support. This kind is hard to manage. Now my SD can't read it. My guarantee has been expired, so I can't ask help. They want me to pay if they will help me. The connection always cut me off, too. Lots of problem. I use now windows 8, the more problem.
Summary: I bought this for work. I've had this for about 3 weeks and use it about 5 days a week. It has great battery life, at least for me since I don't use sound and I keep the screen dimmed, the battery lasts at least 7 hours. The SSD memory is super fast, it boots up very quickly. I love Windows 7 since I upgraded from XP, what a difference. The laptop is thin and light and everything I was looking for.

Summary: Just received the ProBook 430 G1 a couple of days ago, and I'm loving it! Looks classy, is lightweight, and is fast (thanks to the SSD). I had noticed some user reviews talking about wi-fi connectivity problems, but I haven't noticed any issues yet. Need to mention here that the texture of the lid of the laptop attracts smudge marks real quick.
