Summary: You could spend more, and not get as much. It does'nt have everything you may want, but it has what most will need. I think it is very good all-around. I reccomend, and I would buy again if neccessary.
Summary: I purchased this back in march 2010 and the only problem with mine was right before the 1 year warranty expired my dvd drive quit working. I contact customer service and at first they thought I could get help with it over the phone(tech support) so spent an hour and a half going through all of...
Summary: Considering the price, this laptop works fine for my needs/wants (i.e., word processing and watching movies) but, as others have mentioned, the battery and A/C adapter get too hot much too quickly. Also, battery life must be about 30 minutes!!! I hardly ever use it without the A/C adapter.
Summary: I have had my computer for 5 months now....I do love it but the cd/dvd drive has never worked. Did not bother shipping it back because I figured with the shipping price, I would fare better just letting someone putting a new drive in for me.
Summary: I puchased this for a friend of mine, I gave it to her after I removed a lot of bundled software that always seem to come with all computers. it took a little while but was not hard to do. Would have given a 5th star if it came with a windows 7 system disk.It is fast and easy to connect to wi-fi.
Summary: You get a crisp bright display with a decent built-in ATI HD 4200 graphic card, light-scribe DVD drive, and high definition sound. It is a great price for what this notebook can do! I'm very happy I've bought this notebook. Pros: 64 bit system for under five hundred dollars.
Summary: I bought this laptop primarily to watch Netflix movies and sports on ESPN 3. The HD quality is excellant and so is the streaming speed coupled with a high speed connection; a perfect marriage. The sound quality could be more refined as it becomes garbled at full volume.
Summary: I have had this computer for about 1 month and other than a BIOS error which prevented me from starting up the machine I am satisfied for the money. A call to HP got the machine up and running, and a little research on-line solved the problem for good.
Summary: I bought this computer to do some billing and small amount of simple games. Nothing over te top. This fits my nitch perfectly and I wouldn't trade it in for the world. For those out there that complain probably din't get a computer that could do all they wanted it to.
