HP Pavilion ZV6000 Review

  • Conclusion: We already mentioned the handy keyboard labeling of the side-mounted I/O ports, but should specify what's available: Along the right side you'll find headphone and microphone jacks, one USB 2.0 and one IEEE 1394 FireWire port, S-Video out and Ethernet connectors, and a proprietary docking-station connector that HP calls Expansion Port 2 (more on that in a minute).
  • Pros: A well-equipped (if our test unit had had WiFi), widescreened Athlon 64 portable at an affordable price
  • Cons: Too hefty to haul around often; docking base is too expensive
