DONT TRUST THE SELLER!

Courtney Thomas, Amazon
20 September 2013
  • Summary: I'm speaking out of sheer honesty! PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! I bought this laptop for a college class thinking it would be good for presentation uses and the computer came 3 weeks later than it was supposed to in grimy (dirty) condition... For a while it was... About 5 1/2 months after my purchase it started having issues. First it took forever to configure... I have it a chance.. I kept in contact with the seller QUITE OFTEN.... Then problems got worse...

Solid laptop!

localh0st, Amazon
9 May 2013
  • Summary: When I bought this laptop 2 years ago, it was mostly because of the touch screen. I just recently installed Windows 8; the screen works great with it! The keyboard feels a little bit small, and the battery life is not the best. This is not a big problem for me as I spend most my time at a desk and/or close to an outlet. Overall, this laptop is deserving of 4 stars.

Mystery Issues

moosehog13, Ebay
3 December 2012
  • Summary: I bought this particular product used because of its low price and I just wanted a tablet PC to draw and write with the pen on the screen. I like how it isn't as small as other PC's of its kind, I love the fingerprint scanner, the track pad is great, and the buttons on the side of the screen are very handy, however I have had some minor issues. One of the issues is that when I try to draw a smooth curve the line will appear very shaky when I do not have shaky hands.

HP Pavillion tx2000 - suprised me by how much I like it.

  • Excerpt: I first saw the HP Pavillion tx2000 at work.  We have to use a tablet screen for our paperwork, and I really liked it.  When my husband and I were looking for a laptop, we both decided we wanted a tablet. I like this one for it's size and weight - fits easily in my backpack, and doesn't weigh a ton.  The screen is smaller than the average laptop, but it certainly big enough for everyday e-mail, facebook, etc.

This Pavilion tx2000 is the BEST version YET

  • Excerpt: Originally, when I purchased this computer, I was a Senior in college and really needed something to keep up with not only the pace of the classes I was in, but to keep up with the technical demands of every class. This computer has several features that were literally a survival tool I don't think I could have lived without (and now I'm just spoiled by them.) The small size was important to me also. The screen is just over 12 across, but has a beautiful HD screen.

  • Excerpt: This is my third laptop computer and I love it! It has a screen that rotates in any direction. It's small enough to carry anywhere. The webcam is awesome and fun to use. The keyboard is spacious, and the keys are full-size.The AMD CPU runs fairly cool, so it doesn't overheat. It's a dual-mode touchscreen/digitizer display. The screen is very responsive to touch, and double-clicking icons and dragging windows with one finger is easy.

  • Excerpt: I absolutely love this tablet, it is better then most of the tablets out there and cheaper too! With the webcam, fingerprint reader, DVD burner, it has everything I could ever need. Recommend you get the bigger battery though, it stick out a little but it works as a handle for holding it in your arms as you write.

  • Excerpt: I am a medical student always looking for a good deal. With so many classes that require complex diagrams that are not easily placed in computer format, the Tx2000 series was the answer to my prayers. It was incredible to spend less that $900 for a computer that allowed me to take my notes directly in an organized manner. One note is the main feature that I use on my computer with the stylus pen.
