Excerpt: The notebook is really a good concept . A big bundle included in a small sized notebook, making it very easy to carry around everywhere. But because of the small size, it generates lots of heat and which is dangerous to the system itself. I was very happy with the notebook purchase for the first month and then I realised about the heat and the poor touchscreen.
Excerpt: The HP Pavilion tx1320us Entertainment Notebook Pc is my first tablet. I was a little hesitant about switching from a full size notebook to something much smaller but it has been the best decision I could have made. It is a very user friendly model. Switching from regular mode into tablet mode is seamless. The recognition factor is very good. As an editor for a small newsletter that is very important for me.
Summary: I loved this computer when I first got it had technical issue down the line, that the computer froze on me just went black. Took it in for repairs and the guy said it would be cheaper if I just bought a new one.
Summary: I got this lap top just over a year ago, the wifi went out and soon after the mother board went out. I did some research and it looks like this problems is common through out ALL of the HP tablets and laptops. I personally will never by another HP product again.
Summary: I have this machine and loved it for the first year. First, the WIFI stopped working. I thought it was somehting I did; but I never worried about it since I usually plug it directly into ethernet anyway. Then I noticed it was getting very hot; again, I thought this must be normal. Then I noticed all the other people who have the same issue. HP told me it would cost $400 to fix this computer since it wasn't under warranty; I liked the computer so I sent it back.

Summary: Buyer Beware. I brought this laptop Jan 08. It ran slugglish due to Windows Vista but I ignored that because I was just happy to have this cool laptop and didn't have any other issues until... A year after my warranty expired. Feb 09 my wireless completely stop working, Hp tech advise me that i would have to pay $90 for them to help me troubleshoot over the phone and advise to use their online support its free.
Summary: This is a nice device but the AMD chip gets very hot, hard to use over the lap. The HP software are not very good. Even this powerful device run slow based on all HP softwares installed. I upgraded the memory to speed up.
Summary: 11-22-2007 Update - my second TX1320US has the same problem as the first one. This model has, in my opinion, a factory defect. Avoid purchasing. The defect is in the wiring harness that goes through the swivel mount and causes audible clicks to sound through the speakers when manipulating the display. You can position the screen so that the clicking repeats like someone playing a snare drum roll repeatedly.
Summary: most of the reviews you read are right on target. battery life stinks, they have gone to the 6 cell battery for 2 hours and it kinda sticks out from the back. the inking is kinda weird. you have to press alot harder than i thought to get it to be any kind of usable. the screen has glare. there is no question about it. it is hard to believe that after all that i still find it a very nice laptop. the size is very good and compact.
