  • Summary: I purchased this looking for a computer that I could use for going back to school for all online classes. I was excited about the touchscreen, and it was a pretty neat feature but it didn't make up for other downsides. The whole system moved very slowly. After the first time I shut it down it took about 6 hours of "configuring" windows to get it start again, I didn't even want to deal with issues like this so I returned the product and got a Mac.

  • Summary: I like my new laptop the only downside would be that it doesn't charge that quickly. Other than that, I would say it's a good deal.

  • Summary: This computer is absolutely amazing! Everything is so fast works great for paper work. The only things I have had problem with are connecting printer. With the printer your must find the right printer and make sure that it is compatible and sometimes have to log into another computer to get the other one to load. Also this system is web based and you cannot download any stuff to it because its all internet based.

  • Summary: I usually purchase insurance for all of the electronics that I buy from Wal-Mart but this time I did not have the extra money for it. I bought this laptop for school at the end of May 2014 because it was in my price range and it has good reviews. I was happy with it at first, but of course one week after the 90 day warranty/return period expired it started having problems: the Ethernet port is so loose that I have to hold the Ethernet cable in a certain position to...

  • Summary: Got this laptop and had it for about a week ago. Very lightweight and accessible. Haven't had any problems with the product and I love the fact that it's touchscreen. Only downfall is that it doesn't have a cd drive so it's hard to connect my printer. But overall it's a good product especially for the piece.

Inexpensive Option for Students

Pluke, Amazon

  • Summary: I bought this for my daughter for college - something she can carry around to class. The 14 inch size was a good for that and yet not too small. She wanted one with a CD/DVD player and this was one of the few laptops this size that has one. The price was great. The processor is fast enough for what she needs to do. It is very slender, but feels a bit heavy at 4+ lbs. She had issues with the touch screen not working after the laptop wakes up from sleep mode.
