Summary: Works nicely for a web surfer and Microsoft Office user. For video games I had to use a mouse as the touch screen was a little wack, but everything else seemed to run very smoothly. Very light weight and easy to carry around.
Summary: It's decent. I got a sweet deal on this laptop about a year ago. It does its job. Windows 8 is pretty annoying on a laptop, but that's neither here nor there I guess. As far as the physical attributes go, it's slim and light, although it feels a little cheap and plastic.
Summary: First, I hate Windows 8! It completely sucks. It is light, at about 4.5 lbs., but is quite slow. My 7 year old HP is faster. To me the touch screen is a PIA, a mouse is faster, and easier. I will be returning this unit, and going with a more conventional laptop, no touch screen, and with a mouse.
Summary: I was excited about this and after careful decision making on which model to get, I decided on this touchscreen specifically for the numeric keyboard. Well you can imagine my disappointment opening the box to find I had been deceived.
Summary: The laptop itself is alright, but the picture it shows on here is not the picture of the actual product you'll get. This laptop does not have a numeric keyboard on the right side. Be careful when you are purchasing.
Summary: I bought this laptop because my old one did not like the coffee I spilt on it. The sleekbook is nice and compact, fast and light. It's keyboard is very nice for typing. My old one was so sensitive the cursor would jump all over while typing.
Summary: windows 8 is worse than 7.too complicated.simple features like bluetooth missing. being a 14 in laptop it should have dvd drive.mumeric key should have been saperate too. it is light ,battery is good.
Summary: Has anyone tried activating WiDi on this machine? According to Intel's website, the 2nd gen i3-2377M processor is Wireless Display capable. If you Google 'WiDi windows 8' there are instructions on Intel's site for activating it on Windows 8 machines, but the display drivers apparently aren't...
Summary: Pros: * Nice looking thin form factor * CoolSense Technology is top notch, laptop just doesn't get HOT (warm but after long use) * Good mix of ports (2xUSB 3.0 and single USB 2.0, HDMI output -> video AND sound to your TV) * Very quiet * External battery can easily be replaced by user...
