Summary: I was very disappointed that the hard drive failed after only one year and three months. HP would not replace it for free because the manufacturers warranty of one year expired. I will never buy another HP computer again.
Summary: Have you ever been on the verge of lobbing something out the window?! That’s sure how I feel about the “laptop” known formally as the “HP ENVY TouchSmart 14-k110nr Sleekbook”. I put the name in quotations because it sounds fancy and highfalutin, but there is nothing sleek or smart about this product. My mother is the one who actually made the mistake of purchasing this piece, from the local Best Buy.
Summary: Computer crashed, had no choice but to call HP customer service. Over one hour on the phone and I was told I would have to pay $12-$15 for a recovery disc.......That is not customer service, it is customer extortion.
Summary: Avoid at all costs. I purchased one elsewhere; because of discounts, the price was only $325. With light use on trips during the first year, there were minor problems. But 2 months after the warranty expired, disaster. It works, but will only stay on for 10 - 12 minutes, then it just shuts off. You can start it again, it comes up as if nothing happened, no error messages, nothing. All works well for another 10 minutes, then "boom", it shuts off.
Product Picture Does Not Match Item, Failed to Update Photo

Summary: Immediately following my purchase of this item I realized that the photo didn't match the item number/description of the item. The pictured item claims it has a touch screen but the actual item does not. I returned the item immediately upon receiving it. Amazon said they would address the issue but it doesn't appear to have been corrected.
