Summary: I bought this item and from the beginning it has give me problems. The keyboard has always either skipped letters or you have to press really hard and several times to recognize when typing at a fast pace. Also It has just randomly rebooted several times wiping out my apps and telling me that I need to download drivers to view certain pages because It is not capable of viewing them.
Summary: This laptop was Kind of awesome at first. great visuals. Fastish processor. But alas, It's flimsy build did not suffice. Broke this morning. ;( And the warranty's only 2 months. which especially sucks.

Summary: I learned my lesson on buying a refurbished computer. The price was and the reviews were good so I bought it. I will never buy another refurbished computer again. I didn't even put any extra software in other than my Norton 360 anti virus and I kept having a problem with my cpu usage going up to 100% and also I had a problem with internet explorer having high disk usage when I had just opened it. I tried everything suggested to improve those issues but nothing worked.
Summary: and all can really use it for is surfing the internet because Windows 8.1 is such a piece of crap. I have no idea if this computer is any good but it was a waste of money. Most of the issues I have relate to Windows 8 poor help and no existent support. The headset/mic requires a non standard connector.
Summary: The laptop didn't work until I got HP helps.. the warrant was outdated.. no help in the matter from Amazon or the seller. I had to work with HP to get the warrantee back in place and had to have the compute reset. We will not be buying any electron item from amazon in the future. The seller Value Shop has bad customer services.

Summary: I purchased an HP Pavilion Notebook g7 in January of 2013, by the end of October 2013 the hard drive had crashed. Their tech supports answer to the problem was to send me a new hard drive to install myself. Really? Oh yes, my good fortune is to have a daughter in IT. She installed the new hard drive but it did not work. We sent it back, she was able to get the old hard drive to work with the recovery disks she had to request from HP, they don't come with the notebook.
Summary: WAS FAST BUT BATTERY WOULD NOT CHARGE ,CALLED TECH SUPPORT, AFTER 2 HOURS ON PHONE ,SAID WAS OUT OF WARRANTY I CALLED THE SAME DAY I GOT IT ,SO TOOK BACK TO WALMART RETURNED .NO MORE H P PRODUCTS, FOR ME...
