Summary: Its good for basic use. If you use multiple apps and browser, its getting very hot. Processor not at all comparable to I3. Laptop getting very hot in schedules updates or sync. Many times blue screen comes and restarts.
Summary: It was great when I got it a few years ago, but I think these days you can find a lot better computers for better prices. My brother recently bought a laptop from costco for the same price (around $450) with better specs. I would recommend looking around for better laptops before buying this one.
Summary: When I purchased this laptop I was in need of a nice 15" screen laptop. I like HP and thought I had stumbled upon a great deal. Whell, it either was printed clearly or I just missed it but this computer is windows 8 not 7 and I find it so difficult to use that it is collecting dust. I can't even use the dvd player because I have to download an application or gem or something that is not included the set up instructions.
Summary: for 200$ used its not bad its cheap. i would recommend a i3 over this anyday for same pricerange. but for it being an hp laptop thats a few years old. it works and gets the job done. i can't run the new thief game on it. (2014) at low details even. (only game i had problems with on even low details so far) but it runs dota/teamfortress/minecraft fine.
Summary: This computer worked fine at first but then started having trouble staying charged. Bought new battery and still has the same problem. Has to stay plugged in 100% of time to work or crashes. New they work fine for a couple of years. After that, I would stay away. More headaches than they are worth.
