Quality for a price

  • Excerpt: Purchased this laptop for the start of university and so far it has served me flawlessly! Extremely stylish design and handy extras such as the built in webcam and microphone justify the steep price. Only a few minor issues that occur from time to time such as the finger print scanner not reading and webcam not working occasionally but this has always been solved by rebooting the laptop.
  • Pros: Large memory capacity, high quality screen and speakers .
  • Cons: Fingerprint Scanner and Webcam

  • Excerpt: I am current looking to purchase a laptop I want a laptop that I can play games and do work on, and I wanted it to have the small stuff such as webcam, Bluetooth, WIFI and microphone built in so that I don’t have to carry around all those extra hardware and cables (by the time you have finished connecting all that stuff your laptop becomes about as portable as a desktop).
  • Pros: High Specs, Low Price, Great Graphics, Dual Core CPU, Two 120gb Hard Drives
  • Cons: None i Can think of

A top-quality machine from HP

  • Excerpt: This is the first computer that I have bought just for myself - in the past I have always shared other people's or used their old ones. I therefore spent a long time looking at many different laptops before deciding on the dv9340. I didn't really need it to be very portable (luckily!), as it is mainly being used at my desk at home, but I wanted to have the capability to take it with me if necessary.
  • Pros: Looks brilliant, huge screen, very powerful
  • Cons: Size and weight (only to be expected), short battery time

  • Excerpt: Got it for £1000 from John Lewis, other place's do it cheaper but John Lewis do the 2 year guaruntee. Is a little heavy and feels a little flimsy. Has got quite a few features, remote control and TV adapter. Fairly good performance, good screen and good style. Keyboard takes a little to get use to and the poining device is a little tricky too.

  • Excerpt: This is one of the top end Hp pavilion laptop with a 17inch screen and excellent specification, although it does come at a price and a hefty one at that. Speed: With a dual core 1.83 GHz Intel Centrino processor and 2GB of RAM this laptop is very fast. Start up time is speedy, applications open up quickly, big files load equally speedily too. The dual core processor means several applications can be handled at once and several different processes as well.
  • Pros: Look & Design, Performance & Spec, Extra Features
  • Cons: Robustness & Price

  • Excerpt: To make my review of this laptop easier to read and generally more useful I have broken it down into smaller chunks as follows: Speed: With a dual core 1.66ghz Intel Centrino processor and 2GB of RAM you would expect this laptop to be pretty quick, and fortunately it is. Start up time is pretty reasonable, applications open up quickly, big files load quickly too. Can handle several applications at once and complete several processes at once.
  • Pros: Great design, good overall performance, extra & media features are superb
  • Cons: Robustness and price

  • Excerpt: Just bought it a week ago. I LOVE IT! It does everything I want it to and and does it with style. From heavy duty gaming to using AutoCAD, it gets the job done! Battery power is good, 2-3 hours, depending on what u r doing. As for the cosmetics, you can see yourself that it is very attractive. The system can handle crazy multitasking thanks to its dual core processor.
  • Pros: Speed, Ease, Style
  • Cons: Battery
