Does not work properly with external monitors. Very Bad Support

Summary: Purchased additional 3 year support, paid over $349. called and tried to get support from HP support but their support system is really bad. I use HP 2710m external monitor. when I connect with HDMI cable, the external HP monitor does not show the whole screen, it cuts off half an inch on each side...

Summary: I purchased this screen from East Coast LCDs (AKA Blisscomputers.net) a fly by night operation. I only got around to replace the LCD screen after the 30 days (not much time when you're having to face the task of dismantling your laptop), and unfortunately the new screen was dead.
Summary: I purchased an HP dv7t t6500 a year and quarter ago. I have always had Dell Desktops but decided on this HP laptop based on my previous work history at Bell Labs using quality HP equipment. When this computer worked, it ran great but the memory went bad every 5 to 6 months!
Summary: I do not have this particular model of HP laptop, but the HP company does not stand behind their product. If you look on the HP message boards you will find many reviews/complaints about laptops made in the last 3 years with motherboard failure 2-3 years after purchasing.
