Summary: Although, the unit was not received and my monies were refunded the owner requested an update. Yes, the owner was trying to locate another unit, I would not prefer to purchase another unit from this seller, but I would not want to deter anyone from giving them a try!
It's big, it's heavy, and the battery is huge and doesn't last. What a flop!

Summary: I was originally going to write a lengthy review on this laptop but after 6 months of use and promptly replacing it with a MacBook Air, I'll never look back. In short, it's big, it's heavy, and the battery is huge and doesn't last. What a flop in my eyes. I still use it from time to time but it remains plugged into the wall with the battery out and even so, it's slow and bulky. It's sad though, I really wanted this one to work.
Summary: I've had it now for 3 years. It works really good with programs that need alot of memory... the gaming is nice and smooth but it heats up alot and the real battery life when new is about 2.5 hrs and its come down to about 2 hrs only causeI've taken real good care of it.
Summary: It has fought a lot. I liked very much, but when I open pictures, it get slow and stop all time. I can't use the bio-metrical also. I have no time for solve this problem. Maybe be a software problem, but I didn't want go to site and download drivers. It is suck.
Get a lighter weight computer, dual processor for speed & too expensive.

Summary: I had an HP dual processor laptop before this one and it worked a lot faster, even though it did not have all of the ghz this one does. This laptop computer is very heavy to lift and has been hard for me to use it. I have had a lot of trouble with software that was loaded on here and had to pay a computer repairman to correct it. The software, once the computer opened for the first time, all kept trying to load over the other. It was a nightmare.
Summary: Even though this wasn't one of my most heavily used machines, the battery didn't last long and of course right after the warranty expired, an expensive keyboard replacement was needed. On the positive side, you get a large 17" display, good quality speakers, and while it's an older device, its far from obsolete with a Core i7 processor and 6 GB of memory.
Summary: That Notebook is slow because of the HDD and the "so called" ATI dedicated graphics are useless because the driver cannot be updated from the ATI website. It is a combo Intel\ATI Graphics setup.
