Summary: I spent about $1300 on my Hewlett-Packard - HP Pavilion dv7 a couple years ago. It has beats audio and bluray player so yes, an HD display. Within a 2 or 3 months I had to return it for service because the HDMI port was dead. They had to replace the motherboard.
Summary: I have had this HP Pavilion dv7 for 3 years now. For as much as this PC cost it was not worth the hassles and the money. Within 6 months, the motherboard had to be replaced when the HDMI port inexplicably quit working. After I got it back, I started having problems with the internet.
If you buy it get an extended warranty, you'll need it

Summary: I've had my HP dv7t-7000 for a little over two years and I don't think I would recommend it anymore. I got a great price for it (paid $750 original price was $1200), but had I known then what I know now I would have paid more for something better or waited for something else.

Summary: This is really a terrible model. It gets two stars because if things didn't keep breaking I would really love it! Problems-- the video camera and microphone broke at the same time a little over a year after purchase. Next to go were the delete, enter, and space keys (you don't need those right?).
Summary: The computers hard drive was smaller than advertised i think. I say it this way because there are some software problems that might be affecting how the computer sees the hard drive. These are startup software issues. I did make an adjustment in the price so I will just deal with the issues.
Summary: Soon after receiving the unit, I noticed that it had a faulty battery and was not charging. It was not being detected by the HP notebook;. I ordered a replacement which solved this problem. A couple days later, i noticed the wireless function would work some time and some time it wouldn't.
Summary: careful with the product details below it says NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 630M Graphics with 1GB GDDR3 memory [HDMI, VGA] but the laptop comes with intel hd 4000 chip. and also it does not have a backlit keyboard
Summary: I seldom write bad reviews - but had to about this laptop for 3 main reasons. I should first state that all-in-all, it seems to be a decent machine and I purchased it because I'm replacing an older HP dv6 unit - and this dv7t-4000 was one of the only decent laptops I could get that still came with...
