HP introduces the Pavilion Entertainment dv6z customizable Notebook PC that is available with 16 inch (diagonal) display with 16:9 ratio for watching HD movies. The unit is available either in Moonlight White or Espresso Black colors with liquid metallic imprint patterns, HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection, magical chrome media buttons, lighted logo, media docking port, remote control. It supports Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium, AMD Athlon (TM) X2 Dual-Core Processor, 1 GB memory with 250 GB hard drive, ATI Radeon (TM) HD 3200 graphics card, and comes with optional Blu-ray, Integrated HDTV Tuner, Verizon mobile broadband ExpressCard V740, and edge to edge display. The dv6z also features Wireless-G card, LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW, integrated webcam and microphone, full-size numeric keypad and 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader. It also supports four USB (4th shared with eSATA port), one Expansion Port, Altec Lansing stereo speakers and comes bundled with Norton Internet Security (60-day subscription). Features

The HP Pavilion dv6z features support for Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium, which includes Windows Aero, Windows Media Center, and instant search. It also features the AMD Dual Core processor technology, 16 inch diagonal high-definition Brightview display that allows users to view HD content and is supported by 1 GB discrete memory with ATI graphics card. The unit also features an HP logo that lights up when users turn on the PC, and optional flush glass for a frameless look (select the Brightview Infinity Display option). Its built-in Wi-Fi, a low-light webcam and a dual-array digital microphone allows users have video conferencing with friends and family over the internet, while the HP MediaSmart software and light-up buttons puts movies, photos, music, and video creation just a click away. It also features an HDMI 1.3 port for connecting the notebook to an external monitor or HD TV, an optional built-in TV tuner for recording favorite shows, and an optional integrated Blu-ray ROM/DVD writer for high-def Blu-ray viewing plus traditional DVD and CD reading/writing. The unit also features built-in HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection, which detects if the notebook is being dropped and locks the hard drive to help protect data; access to files via high-speed eSATA combo port, which also serves as a USB 2.0 port; Lightscibe technology for designing and printing silkscreen-quality labels directly on DVDs and CDs; high-speed connectivity with optional next-gen Wireless-N; and password management with an optional integrated fingerprint reader.
