Not worth more than $99 unless you enjoy aggravation.

Summary: I got it on sale at a local store about 2 years ago and thought since it was an HP it would be a quality item, but I was wrong. This must be HP's low end model. Previously had a dv9000 and loved it, until the screen went on it. I could still use the dv9000 with another screen attached but then it started acting weird all around, but it took many years to get to that point, and a lot of use.
Summary: I bought this from Staples. When it worked it was a pretty decent laptop. I noticed it getting slower and slower the more I used it though. Thought about installing a solid state and new RAM cards.I had the year warranty on it. This box popped up shortly after that expired asking if I'd like to renew for about sixty USD. I didn't have the money so I clicked remind me later. A few days later the screen started flickering. I then had the money to pay for the warranty.
I gave two stars because repairs can make this a working laptop but it was not an easy fix.

Summary: this computer was not sold as stated in it's description. all of the driver's for H.P programs were deleted and seller refused to assist with corrective repairs other than suggesting a web site to download multiple drivers. seller's last e-mail said I sold the laptop not it's program's. H.p repair's will cost $100.00 for a one time session to restore the program drivers I was not impressed with sellers response. or this purchase.
Summary: Sent the wrong laptop, no back-lit keyboard (they have since changed the description to standard keyboard instead of backlit - still pretty upset). Morning Glory hopes you won't care. I've had this computer for nearly a year and it's pretty quick and the sound is good... But the wifi adapter is crap, I have to reset it every single time I move to an area with a different router or return back to my home router from school.
Hp support is terrable and the left touch pad button is still broken

Summary: I got a referb of this model from HP and I have to say two things, first, HP support is awful if you want to get any support done, they take a long time to call in and are unwilling to change any return package destination. Second I got this machine back from getting repaired and at least now the left mouse click button works...
Summary: I don't often make the time to write reviews but I just had to vent. I have had this model for less than a year and have few major complaints, when its working. BUT... I carry it around regularly, and for many months now, it likes to freeze when it gets moved around. Im talkin like, I carry it around, with headphones on, room to room.
Summary: I bought this computer for my 13 year old daughter last Christmas 2012. Where do I begin, this laptop is constantly giving us problems. It is slow, runs very hot, will not hold a battery charge! She often complains about applications running slow, MS Office 2010 will not open. Right now it is in the repair shop being reset, this is the 2nd time I have had to reset her computer to manufacter settings. I am actually surprised it is getting so many wonderful reviews.
Summary: After about 4 months of usage multiple pixels on my screen began to glitch. The pre-installed skype software frequently froze and could not be exited or fixed. On the positive side the laptop rarely if ever froze. Still overall a poor purchase from a company that you should only buy printers from.
