Summary: I received this computer my senior year after my first laptop's motherboard died. I was super excited and it worked fairly well for the first few months. Once entering college, I began to have problems with the battery. This was about five to six months after purchasing brand new from another store.
I gave two stars because repairs can make this a working laptop but it was not an easy fix.

Summary: this computer was not sold as stated in it's description. all of the driver's for H.P programs were deleted and seller refused to assist with corrective repairs other than suggesting a web site to download multiple drivers. seller's last e-mail said I sold the laptop not it's program's.
Summary: Honestly I didn't like this laptop very much. I had 2 extremely bad problems with it that really deserved to have it's 3 stars taken off. My first problem was the mouse. It was oddly placed and made. I hate when I'm dragging something and I go on top of the left or right click.
Summary: Had this product just 18 months (6 months past warranty expiration) when the hard drive failed. This is a substantial component and I would not expect a failure this soon, expecially since I am a casual user. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.
Summary: I purchased this item last week as I saw this laptop provides with a separate graphic card. But after I received it, I found that the graphic card is Intel Graphic 3000, not the one stated in the product (ATI HD 5770M). What should I do?
Summary: right out of the box this computer had driver issues with the screen flickering, it beeps randomly once in a while also. The keyboard/touchpad feels cheap and there is a hardware defect in a lot of these, mine was refurbished but refurbished means "good as new" if you ask most people. 90 warranty?
Pros: Seems to b a decent running unit a lil slow but not too bad. lightweight. has better battery life than the others we have owned
Cons: Got a cooling fan error when it was a month old opened it up and the fan had come unplugged form the motherboard. Started having boot issues about 2 weeks ago and now the hard drive is dead in undera year WOULD NOT buy another next time ill just go Alienware
Summary: The replacement option through Newegg is simple. And, as I just started the process, I expect it to go smoothly...it is Newegg. However, I am not happy that I need to pay for shipping this defective machine back to Newegg.
Pros: Good computer in good condition. After updating in accordance with HP website, which was simple, everything was as expected, except for what did not work (see Cons).
Cons: Webcam and fingerprint reader failed. The webcam did not work from the time I turned it on, the fingerprint reader failed after about 10 logins using the reader.
