Summary: When I first had this laptop (Dec 2013), it was great compared to my old bulky Dell Inspiron 1545 (got it back in 2006). I loved that it had it built in fingerprint scanner, making it super quick to log into my computer.
Summary: I bought this laptop about 3 years ago. It has been riddled with issues since a few months after owning it. My screen cracked on the inside twice! Apparently this is a hardware issue that is caused by closing the screen after the laptop has heated up.

Summary: The laptop itself is probably fine. However, the screen went out after only 6 months. HP repaired the screen for free but now 9 months later the screen no longer works. HP now says that the laptop is no longer under warranty and it will cost over $200 to repair.
Summary: The item I ordered arrived BROKEN. The box it came in was ok, however, the LCD Screen was not properly packaged and one of the brackets was bent and poking through the plastic, and the screen was totally shattered! I returned this item. :(
