Excerpt: I like this lappie. Got a ton of power and speed for 1000 bucks! My favorite part of the laptop is how easy it is to turn on and off and to set on standby mode.It is very user friendly and came with a lot of extras for the price, including a webcam, microphone and fingerprint reader. (All built in.)It has every hole imaginable, including 2 USB, a DVD drive, Lightscribe and more.
Excerpt: This laptop is excellent. I have been using mine for a year now, and the only issue i have with it is that HP still has not solved the tendency for their products to overheat easily. having the back of the laptop elevated slightly to create an air flow would greatly improve this.
Excerpt: The laptop is great. It has so many features. The only issue i have is the gloss front. It looks nice but it attracts finger prints like crazy, but if you can get past that its a great piece of work. Love it.
Excerpt: I bought this in order to have a portable pc for travelling. It's nice and small, not quite as small as a mac but it works. It has decent processing speed. The best thing was the price. You get a lot with this laptop for a reasonable price. If you've got the money go with the mac but if you want a great laptop while saving $1000 then go for the hp.

Excerpt: I first brought this computer in the fall of 2008 when I first started going to college. It was the best performance computer for the price. It comes stock with a 1.83 ghz intel core 2 duo processor to accomplish any task I had to do for college. It comes with 3 gb of memory which is good so the computer doesnt freeze up when watching multiple videos or opening multiple webpages. I had a online class and it performed well.
Excerpt: I really enjoy using this product ,it has pretty good features like the bluetooth capabilities , the built- in mic & web cam and the fact that comes with windows Vista. It does get a little hot ,So I had to purchase a fan .I wish the battery charge would last longer, besides that it's a pretty good product.
Excerpt: I bought this laptop for my daughter for college. She absolutely loves it. When I used it, I noticed how easy it was to navigate the controls. Plus it was light weight. I would recommedn this laptop to anyone.
Excerpt: The HP dv2000 is a great first time laptop and great for college students. The only bad thing about this computer is that it gets very hot very fast. The movie player isn't that great. Windows vista takes up alot of the battery life.. so you will be connected to the wall through class. I LOVE my laptop..
Excerpt: Great value especially if you can find it on sale. Very easy to use, and impressive features like LightScribe. Battery life (with the battery it comes with) is ok. Plenty of ports for various stuff, nice screen quality, and has a webcam/microphone. Great for college students.

It comes equipped with a wireless internet locator for locating hotpoints, and the windows vista home premium operating system is easy enough to use. It has a touchpad to use or use one of it's three USB ports to use a corded mouse or a wireless mouse. It has a port to where you can take any...
