Summary: It survived me through highschool, but after 2 drops and a new battery, it can't work without being plugged in and the fan fails to cool it. The paint chips off even on the mousepad, the screen corner was cracked when I bought it (walmart), it began to lag quite a lot and now programs crash on it.
Summary: I ordered a laptop from this seller. It was classified as in "very good" condition. The tracking on it didnt work, but i really didnt mind that too much. It came with a nice case and charger, external disc drive, mouse, etc.. honestly, it was more than i was expecting.
Summary: I bought this computer to finish a book. It was adequate but has several things I don't like: 1. runs very hot 2. poor touch pad; way too much drag 3. no dedicated pageup/pagedn keys; this is something I continue to miss 4.
Summary: This is a good price BUT with one BIG CATCH! There's only one ram slot in this laptop and one 4 gig ram cost around $200. Not a good deal if u plan to upgrade the ram. From what I read this laptop runs slow if u go beyond emails, surfing....even streaming video is jerky without the additional ram.
Summary: Bought this from HP's website, and not amazon's... so my experience will not reflect the same exact product you see from Amazon. I bought 2 of these, and I'm returning both of them right away. I had already made a compromise when I bought this laptop.
Summary: I read the reviews , and it seemed the idea thing to buy as I have had HP before... says it sings and dances !!! When you get it, it is not what you think, it has a design fault, do not plug in all the usb ports as then it goes as slow as a snail the new AMD Athlon chip Neo 64 overloads and runs far...
Summary: PROS: Light weight, Good screen, adequate speed, Attractive. CONS: Short battery life (approx 2hrs). Gets very, very hot especially on the lower left side. Cooling fan is loud trying to keep the computer cool and stays on most of the time. Surface is very shiny and is a fingerprint magnet.
