Summary: I have had this laptop for over a year now and have been happy with it. It is the size of a chromebook but with a full Windows 8 operating system (8.1 was a free and easy upgrade). A unique feature is the built-in 4G. Although the listing cites 200MB of free data for 2 years, T-Mobile recently (mid 2014) increased that to the life of the computer. Also, for most existing postpaid T-Mobile customers, the 200MB increases to 1GB of free data per month - not a bad deal.
This is a great little laptop I bring it with me to my customers to show pic.

Summary: I love this laptop, it's light fast, and clear. I bring it to customers to show pics. from other jobs, and I run my accounting package on it, it's a little slow starting up, but after that it runs very smooth.
Summary: This is a very nice notebook. The sound is even great and it is compact. Does the job very well with many features. Windows 8 has a lot of pluses, once you get used to it. It is worth taking the time to learn. The only reason I did not give 5 stars if because I have not tried the 4 g yet.
Four out of 5 stars and $700 cheaper than a mac Air with a bigger hardrive

Summary: Took full day to upgrade but expected that with HP and Windows 8. downloaded roughly 60 HP updates and morre MS-8 updates. Everyting but the Broadband is now working satisfactorily and am quite pleased with the set. As stated, would be 5 stars were it not for the T-mobile issue. Contacted HP, got customer service [India} and got over one hour of run-arround only to have the last person tell me I had to call T-mobile.
Summary: I've had the product for a week. It does need to be customized and is taking some time to get use to (due to windows 8) but i don't have any complaints. As far as price it was cheaper, quicker and easier then when i tried to order it directly from HP. two thumbs up for amazon. I haven't tried to set up the tmobile wifi get.
Summary: I was looking for something to replace an older 'large' laptop that I use primarily when traveling. After much debate I dismissed the tablets because they really didn't have all of the functionality I require. I chose the DM1-4310nr because of its weight, size, price and the HP reputation (I've owned many HP products). With the exception of Windows 8, which I'm still trying to adapt to, this laptop has performed better than any laptop previously owned.
Summary: The hp dm1 is a great little computer I use it at work where I needed widows 7 so I bought this computer because it was Inexpensive. I have always had Mac computers but after using this one I might not ever buy a Mac again
Summary: I read the reviews about this netbook. I paid particular attention to those with driver problems. I decided it was good value and that I'd take the risk of dealing with any potential driver problems. After receiving the netbook and doing the initial sign-on and setup, the first thing that I then did was start the HP Support Assistant, selected 'Updates & tune-ups' and applied all updates before proceeding.
