Summary: I've had this computer for 2 years and the functionality has been ok, however the exterior is very flimsy plastic. I sat down too hard while holding mine and the casing broke near the screen hinge, so the screen sags on one side and the broken part of the case pulls away.
Summary: It was great for the first year, then monitor started to malfunction. When turned on, half the screen was gray, the other gray striped. When I called it would have cost half as much to have it looked at as to just replace it.
Summary: I have used this laptop for three years - mostly for personal use limited to internet and Office. This laptop does the job. My only complaint is that it heats up extremely hot to the point that it feels dangerous to touch at and near the fan when this laptop is in operation over 8 hours straight.
Summary: I have had it for less than a month, serves my basic purpose for surfing the internet and e-mailing, but other than that, I haven't really used it for much!! That is all I can really write for now about my notebook...
Summary: I took off a star because I am SO ANNOYED with the "2 year free T-Mobile" internet program that comes with this computer. This is a very AGGRESSIVE program. Tonight, it started taking over my computer and it kept taking me to their site whenever I tried to go to a site that I WANTED TO GO TO!!
Summary: I needed a small netbook with decent specs to replace my aging Toshiba 13". This unit seemed to offer the best bang for the buck -- at least on paper. Built in 4g was a huge selling point. I like this size, weight, screen and battery life, etc. -- especially for the price.
Summary: this laptop is ok. whe i recieved it i notice there was a piece coming out of the border of the screen so i had to tuck it back in. this laptop is a little slow, you cant really multitask. the webcam quality is great and the speakers are great as well.
Summary: Windows 8 does not offer a good user experience on a non-touchscreen device. Downgraded to Ubuntu however ran into endless Driver issues (wireless related) Works fine for day to day browsing and office workloads As others have commented, it over heats quite easily...
