Summary: its 2012 technology in late 2013, works for casual internet, I put MS office on it and firefox and use it for iTunes too. nice having the T-Mobile for emergencies or when I cant tether or get free wifi or am not on office network or at home using my neighbors wifi for free. nice that it came with a 500gb harddrive its half full already.
Summary: I have had it for less than a month, serves my basic purpose for surfing the internet and e-mailing, but other than that, I haven't really used it for much!! That is all I can really write for now about my notebook...
Summary: I purchased the product as new it arrived used with dents on the front of system. one of the processing cards was missing and the trail subscription of office was already expired. The T-Mobile card was already I installed and didn't work. I sent it back for an immediate return. As far as the actual computer... Not impressed.
Summary: Received the package promptly, but it was poorly packed and when I opened the outside box, inside was a retail computer box addressed to Staples!!! It was apparent from the condition of the inside box that it had been shipped unprotected through either the mail, ups or fedex systems. I was not happy! If I had wanted this computer from Staples, I would have gone to the store and purchased it there.
Summary: i bought at this laptop at target it went on clerance to 181.79. never opened brand new i actually bought two of them. its very fast great sound it has beats built in speakers, its not big and bulky good ram good memory
Summary: I took off a star because I am SO ANNOYED with the "2 year free T-Mobile" internet program that comes with this computer. This is a very AGGRESSIVE program. Tonight, it started taking over my computer and it kept taking me to their site whenever I tried to go to a site that I WANTED TO GO TO!! Afterall, this is MY COMPUTER! It messed up my computer, and I got so angry I deleted the freaking program!!! The computer is fine, but the T-Mobile program SUCKS!!!
would be 5 stars if the promised T-Mobile wcould be activated.

Summary: Took full day to upgrade but expected that with HP and Windows 8. downloaded roughly 60 HP updates and morre MS-8 updates. Everyting but the Broadband is now working satisfactorily and am quite pleased with the set. As stated, would be 5 stars were it not for the T-mobile issue. Contacted HP, got customer service [India} and got over one hour of run-arround only to have the last person tell me I had to call T-mobile.
Summary: It's difficult to tell whether it's the machine or Windows 8 but with 4GB and nothing else running should Solitaire hesitate? In addition, there's no evidence of the T-Mobile Broadband despite HP's setup instructions directing you how to access it. All-in-all, a very disappointing purchase. Followed Scott B.'s request to contact HP Customer Support I reported the following issues: 1. No evidence of T-Mobile Broadband 2.
Summary: This is the second Pavilion DM1 computer we've bought; the first one was in 2011. The hardware on this computer is fine, but after starting it for the first time I realized what a terrible mistake I had made buying a Windows 8 computer. Microsoft got it right with XP and Windows 7, but Windows 8 is just wrong, in so many ways there isn't enough space to go into it here. It would have been far better for me if this computer had come loaded with Vista.
