Summary: laptop arrived on time. wifi would not work. hp tech. help tried unsuccessfully to connect, told me to send back to hp (no problem with hp service). prompt return from hp still no wifi, called internet service tech. help no success. got online (cable connect) will try hp tech. help again. stay tuned.
Summary: Huge headache from the very beginning. Screen defected and had to be replaced after one month of use (it wasn't dropped or anything spilled on it or anything.) Customer service was a hassle to deal with and had to go through lines of Indian customer service reps before getting to anyone who could help out. The second screen just went out this week after one year of use (of course right after the warranty expired).
Summary: The computer was refurbished and defective. It came with a bad charging defect. It would not charge the battery so I returned it to get my money back. I went to the local Office Max and bought the same computer new with a $50 rebate to it ended costing less and being new versus being refurbished.
