HP Pavilion 17z Notebook Review

Notebookcheck
25 August 2014
  • Summary: The notebook with Beema. The HP Pavilion 17-f050ng comes with the latest Beema generation of AMD APUs. Read our review to find out why the review sample really surprised us.
  • Pros: Good case for this price range, Nice design, Solid build quality, Decent input devices, Good sound quality, Usable battery runtimes, Comparatively light, Quiet operation, Hardly any warming during operation, System performance sufficient for practice, There are a couple of things: For example the above-average build quality for this price range, the decent keyboard and the good speakers – this is not a matter of course for such an inexpensive notebook.
  • Cons: Only single-channel memory, Glossy display, Strong blue cast, Low brightness, Maximum brightness reduced on battery power, Pretty high black value, Hardly suited for gaming, Clickpad sometimes imprecise, A lot of bloat ware, Only combined stereo jack, No VGA out, No Gigabit-Ethernet, Almost no maintainability, The display could obviously be better and anti-reflective.

HP Pavilion 17-f130ng Notebook Review

yooip.com
18 December 2013
  • Summary: HP Pavilion 17-f130ng Notebook is an all-round device that buyers get at an approximate price of 560 Euros. The device has a strong computing power for everyday use and also to some degrees of playing computer games. It runs very quietly in normal use and also barely heats up. The display is also good due to the matte Full HD screen and good brightness, outdoor use of the laptop is also possible.

Review HP Pavilion 17-e054sg Notebook

Notebookcheck
8 November 2013
  • Summary: Bargain-buy quad-core. A well-rounded notebook for under 600 Euros (~$815) - that's what the Pavilion 17 offers. A quad-core processor and a dual graphics card supposedly ensure optimal performance. Our review reveals whether this setup really does its job.
  • Pros: Good application performance, Good gaming performance, Lots of RAM, The solid system performance. The hard drive also impresses. It runs sufficiently fast and offers spacious memory.
  • Cons: Only Fast Ethernet, Blue-tinted screen, Warranty good for only 12 months, A better display can never hurt, even when we can live with the one they're offering.
