Summary: I decided to purchase a laptop to replace my aging HP 2000 notebook. (It never really had a name, I couldn't find one.) I received the laptop not too long after order. as soon as it started up I knew it would be great! The slim design, bright vibrant color (depending on choice), and over-all quality was exquisite. There was only one problem I've had so far, and that was after I opened it, I found an eight-inch long scratch in the upper left hand corner.
Summary: For the most part, this is a pretty decent computer. It has lots of memory, plenty of disk, a built-in optical drive, and a bright screen (although the screen surface is shiny rather than mat, so you get a lot of reflections and glare). Relatively speaking, it is not all that expensive. Most of all, it comes with Windows 7, which is why I bought it. One thing, however ruins this computer: the touchpad. It has an incredibly inconsistent response.

Summary: Overall a nice laptop. The only thing I would change is the operating system. Windows 8 SUCKS and I absolutely HATE it! I would gladly sacrifice the convenience of touch screen technology to rid myself of this scourge. If you are thinking about getting a computer with Windows 8 on it, don't. You will regret it.
Summary: This laptop actually has some really good features for the price. I really like the way this laptop is sleek and light weight. It was really easy to set up with everything being simple and straight forward. The only thing I don't like about this laptop is the mouse buttons. The buttons are really hard and stiff unlike my past laptops. I actually had to buy a wireless mouse to use with it.
Summary: This computer works well. It starts up and turns off quickly. The touchscreen is addicting. My wife did not like Windows 8. Even though there is a app that makes it act similarly to Windows 7, the programs were different. Solitaire was different enough that it was a problem. So mine was banished to the office where we use it to take payments. Windows 8 needs a touchscreen like this one has.
Summary: I needed a laptop to replace a previous HP that developed hardware problems. I also did NOT want Windows 8.x. This laptop had reasonable specs at a reasonable price. It let's me do the work I need to get done. I do like that the battery lasts longer than my old laptop, it has a newer/faster CPU, and it has more memory and a larger HDD. I'd prefer a 16:10 ration screen so I could fit more data (vs the 16:9 it has for viewing movies/TV).
Summary: I've only had this laptop for few weeks now and so far, the only problem I have with it is the battery life. It doesn't last as long as I had hoped. The charger heats up really quickly too. Apart from that, it is a good product, easy to use and light to handle. I was a bit apprehensive about the Windows 8 but it is one of the best features on it.
