Summary: It's not too bad for what it is, I unfortunately cannot say this review will be extremely accurate as I purchased mine as a "refurbished, off brand laptop" where all they did was cover up the HP logos with black tape and sharpie marker and cover up the factory serial stamp with their own and resold it without an OS.
Great Machine, Refurbished does come with risks, Seller Mistakes.

Summary: Considering what's on the market, this machine is a good bargain. I do have a few complaints. 1. The unit shipped with a 45W power supply and requires a 65W supply for full performance. 2. The "G" key is not 100% responsive and requires a hard strike to register. 3. The battery bezel is a little flimsy and I strongly suggest not handling the computer by the back/battery end. The touch pad is annoying until you remove the clear plastic protective cover.
Summary: Yep, overwhelmed by choices, good price, decided on Pavilion. Initially had bout 88 updates to Windows 8.1, but I am adapting successively. Nice springy feel on keys. Do wish this computer had a backlit keyboard, to Skype at night. Nope it is not an Envy with the V-8 (I-7), but the V-6 (I-5) is no slouch. It also has Blue tooth capability, Optical drive, and a neat durable, textured white casing, and subwoofer included with Beats audio. I am content with my purchase.

Summary: I ordered this Sept 20th and everything worked fine up until 3 weeks ago. But now when turn it on the laptop is in an infinite loop. I did a system diagnosis and the hard drive check has failed.
Summary: Still getting used to the features of Windows 8.1 There are times when the side screen and windows 8 homescreen pops up. Battery life POOR. I will put the laptop on the table at 10pm and next morning the battery is dead. I mean DEAD will not start up. I am using the power settings from HP as installed from them. WARNING. Windows easy transfer, not EASY.
