Summary: This netbook was purchased to use on the go but also can be use as desktop with an external display, keyboard and mouse. I added 1 Gb ram and works ok, the price was very good $ 150 (used), but the keyboard and pad had havy use. My conclusion is that a netbook of 11,6 it is much better.
Summary: When purchasing a laptop, my personal policy to either search for the lowest price, or the best quality; you can get something cheap, or you can get something that lasts. In this case, I already have an oversized laptop for lengthy trips, and a nice desktop at my home.
Summary: I bought this one to my doughter. She loved the computer and it has been very helpful in school works. I did a memory upgrate to 2Gb. The problem is the Windows 7 Starter, that shows some limitation and it's upgrade is more expensive.
Summary: I have used this netbook for about one week and it has performed fairly well. Windows 7 starter is (merely) alright as it is very slow once you get any kind of anti-virus loaded. The one ghz of memory that comes preloaded is upgradeable to 2 but I haven't taken the leap yet.
Summary: I like this little netbook. The specs are very similar to a lot of the netbooks that are out there right now, although with the CES being last week, there are sure to be more coming that are better, and I would expect that the price on this one should come down soon.
Summary: This netbook is perfect for what I need it to do. The 1GB of memory was surprisingly sufficient for standard processing; not until I installed several large programs (Photoshop, MS Office, Freehand, Easyshare, Mappoint +) did I consider upgrading to the 2GB of memory.
