Summary: This is a fantastic laptop. First, I love the styling. Secondly, the large screen is a huge plus when you need a lot of screen "real estate." It's fast. The webcam is very clear and works fast. The image isn't choppy like some other cameras. I also like having a separate number pad. Very productive totally worth the $800 I paid for it!
Summary: Great laptop. Have had minor bugs over years but have always been fixed. When you buy warranty and have major problem with laptop, it takes a month or so to get it fixed and returned. Transfer files so you never lose time.
Summary: This is my personal computer and my work computer and has been for 5 years now. I am amazed that a computer that cost me 500 has lasted me longer than laptops that have cost 1500. Granted, battery sucks, but I rarely use it off the charger, anyway. I upgraded to 8 gigs of ram and every 2 years I do a fresh install. Everything is perfect with this thing, even after all these years.
Summary: I purchased my G72 over a year ago and it has and is serving me well. I use wifi and dial up internet services and this laptop handles them both great. I take it to work in the oilfield whenever I need to finish projects and it performs great in harsh conditions. I recommend the G72 as it gets the job done. I have had no problems with it and will continue to use it at home, work and on the go.
Summary: This computer has been very reliable and has served without problems. For a 17.2 inch screen, it is very compact and lightweight, like having a traveling desktop computer. I would not hesitate to recommend.
Summary: I've had this computer since November of 2010, and I remind myself how lucky I was to buy this on Black Friday for just $450. I got mine from staples and I haven't looked back or regretted this purchase. This replaced my toshiba a105-s2061 after a long 4 years, it was bound to die at any moment (although, I wish it didn't because the files from my online classes were on it). I saw this on the black friday ads and I jumped at the opportunity to buy it.
Summary: This is my first refurbished computer. I opened the box and fired it up and all went well. After I loaded all the Windows updates, I ran stress tests on all the parts and it passed everything. Looks like a brand new computer -- but better, in that it was not loaded with a bunch of software ads and stuff you always have to clear out. It only had the "Microsoft Office" please-buy-me gunk.
