Summary: This was my son's computer for four years during high school. He is now a freshamn at Georgia Tech in Chemical engineering. I say this because he used this computer for a wide variety of things.
Summary: I bought this laptop in June. I did my research on laptops with similar specs. So I think it goes without saying that if you buy ANY computer, you should do your own research and see if it would fit your needs.
Summary: Aside from getting infected with spyware early in my ownership, which I remedied on my own, this computer has never caused significant problems. It's easy to use, and the fan is going constantly. I have had this computer for 4 years.
Summary: This unit came without a hard drive but functioned OK. I was able to get an image from a similar model onto a 1T hard drive which I installed in the unit. Ran the image and everything came up perfect except for the WiFi adapter which was different.
Summary: It's a Great laptop. I have loved using the laptop but I am glad I got the warrant with it because I did find out that the mouse pad it bad. After using it for a while the mouse pad start going crazy and you lose control of your mouse. It is almost as if it is overheating.
Summary: I bought this laptop at Staples in Feb 2011 for $499. Which is with a $100 instant rebate and they also gave me a $50 mail in rebate so actually I only paid $449. It come with one heck of a warranty...
Summary: I've had this laptop for a few years now, and it sees daily use. I take it everywhere with me, and it only gets used outside of the house. I've broken it, fixed it, cleaned it, dropped it, and am currently working on a problem with overheating.
Summary: Refurbished HP Laptop works well and this computer was a great buy and money saver. The outter case is sleek and computer was easy to set up. This one came only with power cord but still a good deal.
