Summary: I've had this laptop for 3 years so far and its still running strong. Honestly I love it flaws and all that is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Problems so far is the battery sucked never lasted long neither in charge or time I had it so it was not missed when it died, It was my first laptop so I...
Summary: Within a year of owning this computer, about one minute after the warranty was up, the letters wore off the keys. Thankfully I'm an excellent typist so I don't NEED the letters to be visible, but it would be nice if they were, don't you think?
Summary: Running Win 7, Chrome, optimized and all crapware removed, this thing doesn't play more than one episode of Netflix without lagging out. This is possibly the worst machine I have ever used, in terms of meeting expectations. It is less useful than a netbook. Get out of computers, HP, you're drunk.
Summary: I bought one three years ago at a chain store. It worked well for about a year. if you want a computer that crashes all the time, freezes- in Opera, Chrome, IE or Firefox- this is the brand for you. It can take upwards of ten minutes from the time I turn it on until the browser loads.
Summary: I bought this laptop in early 2010 and to be fair, it's still kind of okay, especially for less than $600. Also, it was the first new laptop I purchased in years so at the time, almost any upgrade seemed kind of awesome. Now, it's probably a 2.5 star machine. ...meh.
Summary: I've had this laptop just under 3 years now and have another one on the way from Amazon. As has probably been said by some others, my battery crapped out in under a year. Clearly some of the cells die out around that time.
Summary: This computer is reliable and intuitive. I love the huge bright screen for movies and the easy of utility regarding the wireless set-up. The number pad on a laptop computer keyboard is also a favorite.
