Summary: Exactly what I needed. HIgh quality laptop with seemingly good build and great design. Possibly the best keyboard (backlit) on a laptop out there. Only complaint is that the SD Card reader is not working; I don't use the card reader often enough to really care and have a USB card reader for the once...
Summary: I travel frequently, and this laptop has proved to be wonderful. If you are comfortable with a 13" screen, and don't need a large hard drive or DVD drive, this is an excellent machine. However, it should be noted that the 9 hour battery life cited is a serious exaggeration.
Summary: I purposely waited six months before reviewing this computer simply because it takes time to fairly evaluate this type of purchase. I'm happy to report that there have been no issues whatsoever with this computer. It's just great -- very light and well made, with aluminum panel case.
Great Business Winning Ultrabook, MacBook Air Killer, Best Ultrabook So Far
29 June 2013
Summary: This is HP Folio 13 the best Ultrabook, compared to all other brands of Ultrabook. Why is this is so good and why it's getting so many glowing reviews, an average of 4.8 stars out of 5 stars? This is why: 1. Windows 7 Professional.
Summary: First of all, i love Amazon, but you can buy this machine for a lot less money, if you look. In fact, i got a refurbished model that arrived in absolutely mint condition, for half the amount. But on to the review... The machine, itself, is flawlessly built.
Summary: I am more of a tablet person and I had laptops in the past, but, I had been off them for a while now. My biggest peeve was the battery life and the things you had to do..Turn the brightness down, lower the processing speed, shut the WiFi and myriad of other tasks just to get an extra 30 minutes out...
Summary: This is a highly portable, high performance, solidly built, fast, thin, light computer. I bought it for a family member who is preparing to leave for college and fully expect it will take care of their needs as well as remain in good condition for some time.
Summary: Have used it for a couple months and am amazed at how fast the machine is. The keyboard is great for normal work and the backlighting is something I appreciate in low-light areas. I am amazed at the battery life of this thing. I consistently get over 8 hours and still have life left in her.
Pros: Battery life is incredible, Screen is crisp & clear, Solid build, Thin enough and feels sturdy, Boot time is 24-26 seconds.
Cons: Could use more drive space; but, hey, this is a ultra portable.
Summary: There are already more than 50 reviews posted at the time I am writing this, some very detailed, so I thought I would just add a few random observations from my first few weeks of use. CAN I LIVE WITH ONLY A 128 GB HARD DRIVE?
Summary: well i was a little reluctant to buy cause the ivy bridge ultrabooks will be coming out soonish... but hey that's always the case with technology, something better is always just around the corner. i'm extremely happy that i pulled the trigger and got the folio.
