Summary: I bought a previous incarnation with Windows 8.0 installed. After updating to 8.1, sleep mode never worked again. My video game development app had graphics problems. HP never fixed any of these issues. HP has a bad rep in my circles. Now after 2 years, the touch screen stopped working.
Summary: I purchased this laptop as well as a very similar 15" one for my wife and I. I'm happy with my 15" and I can't stand the 14". They really dropped the ball with the smaller screen & the biggest issue is the screen itself. It's max resolution is 1280x960!! That's less than my phone.
Summary: I regret to inform that this has been a terrible mistake on my part. Please do not be lured by the HP Worldwide Warranty card this product comes with. The display conked off within a month of purchase. The spare parts are not available outside the US.
