Summary: Cons: Battery life is horrendous. It won't make it to 2 hours on full charge. The power connector has started falling out of the laptop by itself, you have to keep pushing it back in. TouchScreen has come unglued. When closed, keyboard has left permanent marks on the screen.

Summary: So I bought this laptop more or less 8 months ago. Since week 5 the adapter (charger) starter bothering it keeps saying it's not pluged in eventhoug it is. So I have to slam it super hard in to the laptop and then it really works.
Summary: Love the Laptop but I bought for my wife and need W8.1 as it has a start button and looks more Windows 7 like. HP is telling me W8.1 is garbage and do not update and just stay with Windows 8. This is not an acceptable answer and I am working with a HP case manager to resolve matter.
Summary: Ok first let me say that I bought this in May, and for the six months I was happy (even mildly so with Windows 8). But it has become an extremely expensive paperweight. Out of the blue, it will not start up properly, rendering the entire computer inoperable.

Summary: First, the wifi connection for the HP laptop is unstable. I have a three year old Toshiba laptop and it can easily connect to the wifi. My son plays a game called League of Legends, when he plays, it crashes almost every other time because there was no connection.
Summary: Absolutely unsolvable DPC/latency spikes with this machine. When I say that I spent well over a month troubleshooting and tweaking the OS to resolve the problem, I mean it. Nothing worked. I even installed Windows 7 on there, so the same deplorable results. DO NOT BUY for DJ use.
The most sub-standard electronic device I've ever used! Returned the laptop after getting it repaired 2 times by HP Support

Summary: I bought this laptop 8 months back for $1250, and could not use it for more than a month during these 8 months. First, the WiFi was getting disconnected every 5 mins. I spent long long hours with HP Support on call to get the issues resolved. Finally, I was asked to send the laptop to HP for repair!
Summary: tl;dr this laptop is terrible, don't buy it. This laptop was terrible. I purchased it at a retail Microsoft Store because I do UI art/production art work for a Microsoft Vendor and I wanted a laptop with an IPS display.
Got a lemon from Eluktronics and stuck with a BRICK.
