Summary: After suffering with HP lack of support at the beginning, now I can not update it to Windows 8.1. As many other HP Spectre unlucky owners it is quite impossible to update to 8.1 since a black screen appears as a result. Never buy HP products!
Summary: We bought this for our daughter this summer before she left for college. She loves the computer though there was a learning curve for Windows 8. She loved it once she got used to it. It has been a great purchase for her!
Summary: It didnt came dead, so thats a great relieve. Its being working great for about a month now. The power botton is kind of hard to push, but thats not a big issue for me. Its battery last for days, i hate Windows 8, but what are you going to do?
Summary: I search many weeks for a reasonable laptop with good performance, price and light weight. I really love this laptop. Screen resolution is nice, clear and sharp, viewing angle is so so., it's power up super fast, light weight and fast (I don't play game so I can't comment on gaming), keyboard has back lid buttons, quite operation and do get warm if you use it for a while (little warm not hot), I expecting this due to core I5.
Summary: This computer is much better than expected. Is very state-of-the-art and high-tech, but at the same time it does not take a genius to know how to use it. It's sleek and stylish very fast and responsive. And for the price you can't beat this deal!
Summary: Pros: - Strong price point for a touchscreen enabled laptop - backlit keyboard a tremendous benefit - good to excellent battery life - touchpad improved over previous HP Envy iterations, though still not perfect - touchscreen is responsive and accepts frame-to-screen swiping - the audio speakers by BEATS are outstanding! - Solid hinge design keeps screen where you put it. Cons: - Within 12-18 months many bargain ultrabooks will have same features at lower prices.
Summary: This is a fantastic laptop. The time to wake up from sleep is just a second or two, and programs start instantly. The keyboard is responsive and the touchscreen is very well designed. Although I don't use the trackpad very often, as the touchscreen is so much easier, I have no complaints with that either. My only negative comments regarding the laptop are with the battery life and the screen itself.
